It is with great sadness that I inform you that our congregation’s member Velta Zommers passed away on January 24th in Arizona. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 20th at 2 pm in the the Seattle Latvian Lutheran Church, followed by a celebration of her life in the Latvian Hall. All are welcome to join the Zommers family in their remembrance of Velta. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the Kursa summer high school or the Latvian Lutheran Church.
